Fela’s son and custodian of Afrika Shrine, Femi Kuti has revealed that he disclosed to the French President, Emmanuel Macron all the eye service charity deeds that Lagos State Government did towards the shrine because of his visit.
The President of France who used to be an IT student in Nigeria some years ago at the France Embassy visited Afrika Shrine in Lagos in honour of Late Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti.
Some days before the visit, Lagos state government extended some special gesture to the shrine in a bid to give the French President a good impression about the state. The Ambode Government rehabilitated the road leading to the Shrine and also gifted the shrine a new generator.
Meanwhile, a Nigerian man identified as @rasromio questioned Femi Kuti on Instagram if he exposed all the eye-service gesture of the Lagos State government to the French President.
In his response, Femi Kuti declared that French President Emmanuel Macronwas made aware of all that was done by Lagos State government to impress him.
